I understood layers in theory, but was having difficulty in practice. I have perused other digital scrapbooking site tutorials, but kept making errors (and was getting pretty fustrated). Well, today I decided to try the Getting Started: Your First Layout lesson. I finally understand! So much so that after I did the lesson, I started creating an album for my son who graduated this week. Granted, it will be pretty straight-forward with not too many bells and whistles, but I figure that I will continue buying lessons to learn more complicated skills.
