This mini lesson focuses using selections and transformations to “bend” custom shadows, making elements appear lifted off the page and making your designs look more realistic.

You will learn how to:

• Load and recolor brushes
• Create a custom drop shadow
• Bend drop shadows to make them look more realistic

You will need:
Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements
Adobe Acrobat

Difficulty:
While I do provide every step necessary to complete the techniques, it is helpful to have some experience with opening and closing files and a basic knowledge of the Photoshop or Photoshop Elements workspace.
