How’d They Do That? No. 23: Fab Photo Clusters

This lesson centers around the use of the versatile Photo Cluster products, which can be used for multiple photos, single photos, or no photos at all. The major focus is on how to use the layered .psd versions of the Photo Clusters with a single photo, but it also provides tips on using the .png versions and several ideas of how to use the clusters creatively on a page.

This lesson includes:
A 10-page, full-color pdf with screen shots (in PS CS4) and step-by-step instructions for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements users
One paper, one layered and shadowed Photo Cluster, one .png Photo Cluster, and one yarn tie, all designed by Katie Pertiet

You will need:
Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements
Adobe Acrobat
a photograph

Difficulty:
While I do provide every step necessary to complete the techniques, it is helpful to have some experience with opening and closing files and a basic knowledge of the Photoshop or Photoshop Elements workspace.
