An eBook like no other with all sort of guidance to help you use your camera to it's full potential. This eBook will help move you from the auto settings on your camera. Put together by our own Katrina Kennedy who project led this for DesignerDigitals and members of the DesignerDigitals CT Team.

Have you felt the disappointment of photos not being what you've envisioned? Are you craving more creative control of your camera? Our intent is to help you achieve just that by increasing your understanding of your camers's settings. You will find step by step directions to help you move from auto and move to the semi-automatic settings or even manual mode.

We will take a look around your camera and then explore the semi-automatic settings. Working with aperture priority mode and shutter priority mode will help you understand how ISO, aperture and shutter speed work together so you are ready for manual mode.

You will need at least Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7.X to view this. It will be better viewed with the latest version (currently version 9.X) which you can download that for free at Adobe. Due to the layout design, this book is better viewed on line, rather than printed.

This book is priced as a steal for the wealth of information it holds. Katrina has a special skill of teaching that makes everything understandable. Way to go DD on this wonderful publication. If you are thinking about buying this book...go for it, you will not be disappointed!

Katrina is not only an amazing photographer, but a wonderful teacher...I have had the opportunity to learn from Katrina on numerous occasions and jumped at the chance to learn from her yet again...In fact I plan on keeping her book in my camera bag at all times for easy reference!

Katrina is an infectious passion for photography. Couple that with a love to impart her knowledge to others, and you have the making of a great book. You will fill such a sense of accomplishment when you get your camera off of auto, and you will have so much more creative possibilities with your photography!

I have read a lot of photography books. Most written by well-known photographers and have been intricate and detailed. Hard to read. In this book, Katrina has manages to explain the essentials of photography is such an elegant way that you can not put the book down - that is, unless it is to pick up your camera and trying out all the excellent advice, presented in a few easy steps. Not is it written well, the photography is inspiring and beautiful and makes you feel you can go out and capture all the beauty out there too - in manual mode! :)

Leave it to Katrina to write the best photography book and make it look wonderful at the same time! Her lessons are truly simple to follow and her (and the others') photography is absolutely inspiring! Thanks for the great lessons!
