I too have been struggling to learn Photoshop Elements. This tutorial made it all click!

I have been trying for awhile to understand how to create a layout in PSE. I understood layers in theory, but was having difficulty in practice. I have perused other digital scrapbooking site tutorials, but kept making errors (and was getting pretty fustrated). Well, today I decided to try the Getting Started: Your First Layout lesson. I finally understand! So much so that after I did the lesson, I started creating an album for my son who graduated this week. Granted, it will be pretty straight-forward with not too many bells and whistles, but I figure that I will continue buying lessons to learn more complicated skills. This was well worth the purchase, and I'm pleased as punch:)

These tutorials are fantastic! I have absolutely no "art" sense but have good computer skills so I was dying to figure out how to use Photoshop to make nice scrapbook pages. I started with this lesson and I now own about half a dozen and hope buy the rest. Very clear, step by step, with really nice results. The mini-kits are useful and the projects are easy to change around after the lesson so you can put the pieces to use in something else. Tons of tips in each lesson that you will use for a long time. I am so much faster now with a bunch of keyboard shortcuts. Also, I use Photoshop 7, which is much more limited than CS, and most things are easy enough to figure out even if they take a few more steps to get done. Thanks and please keep writing them! Kaye

I was absolutely delighted with the plain simple language used for a PSE first time user like me. I completed my first page in no time at all and was thrilled with the results. I also learned some shortcuts along the way. Well worth the very small investment to get me going with my attempts at digital scrapbooking, after having scrapbooked the traditonal way for many years. Thanks so much. Kathryn
