Adobe Photoshop or Elements Tip of the Week:
How to Access Tool-specific Menus in Photoshop or PSE
You can also watch this tip on video on our blog: How to Access Tool-specific Menus in Photoshop or PSE [Video]
When you are using the tools of Photoshop or Elements, you normally access the tool options in the Options bar at the top or bottom of the editing window. While you are working, you can also bring up a tool-specific menu by right-clicking the mouse as you use the tool. The menu populates at the cursor location and gives you options for the currently-selected tool without needing move the cursor. So right-clicking while you are on the eyedropper tool gives you a different menu than the brush or paint bucket tool.
Have a great week and we'll see you at DesignerDigitals!
