Filling your Layer with Goodies at DesignerDigitals
If you're reading this and it's still Saturday. Happy Halloween to you!! It's a gloomy and rainy Halloween at our home and not too sure if that will keep the trick or treaters away or not. But I've still got the camera all set for friends dropping by with their little ones. And in the store this weekend there are no tricks only over 40 new treats for you!
Congratulations to GoingtotheSun who won week 3 of the Double-D Scrap Challenge! Week 4 is about to close with our CT voting for that and a winner should be announced by this coming Wednesday as well as the overall month winner.

And starting this Thursday, November 5th will be our last quarterly sale of 2009 where everything in the store will be marked down 30% until Tuesday, November 10th at 6am EST. We will also be having chats with freebies all day long on Saturday, November 7th. If you log into your account you can set email reminders on the calendar for the chats that you want to attend.

Tip or Treat! How to fill your layer with goodies

It's Halloween - a night for filling bags and buckets with tricks and treats of every sort. In the spirit of Halloween, we are treating you to a tip for filling your layers with the treatment of your choice.
When you want to quickly change the color of an image, such as the .png images that come packaged with our brush sets, select the layer you want to fill and press Shift + Backspace to bring up the Fill Dialog. (Note: on some systems, pressing Shift + Delete will activate the Fill Dialog.)
From the Contents section, you can fill your layer with a variety of treats - foreground color, background color, or a color of your choice. You can choose any loaded pattern, black, white or 50% grey! It's a veritable candy bag of options!
Check the Preserve Transparency box at the bottom left corner of the Dialog box to fill just the opaque pixels. Leaving this unchecked will cause the software to fill your entire layer.
