Adobe Photoshop or Elements Tip of the Week: A Square Deal You can also watch this tip on video on our blog: Digital Scrapbooking Tips and Tricks: A Square Deal [Video] As the song goes, sometimes it's hip to be square. This is especially true when you are navigating your way around a digital project in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. When you need to zoom in to a specific spot on your project, activate the Navigator Palette by selecting Window > Navigator. The Navigator contains a small image of your open project. Hold the Ctrl key (Mac: Cmd key) and draw a red box in the image thumbnail. Photoshop and PSE will fill the editing window with the contents of that box. This makes it easy to zoom in and work on a small portion of your project - like adding text, cloning, or photo restoration. With the box drawn, you'll be able to pan around the document by moving the red box in the Navigator thumbnail or use the Navigator slider to zoom even farther in or out. Now that's a hip little square! Have a great week and we'll see you at DesignerDigitals!
