Journaling reads: As far as we could see... rolling grass and wide skies, and beyond the road, so sign of people or anything people can do to landscapes. No fences, no towns, no trash, just grassland wilderness. It gave us a tiny taste of what it might have felt like to the early Pawnee Grassland pioneers.
