Another page for my favorite photos book, featuring a shot of a local farmstead being kissed by the light from a soon-to-set sun. The photo was taken with a 35mm SLR, on some high-speed film I'd had laying around for awhile and was wanting to use up, so the original image started out on the grainy side, and in the digital version of the image that grain translated as color noise, so I decided it was an ideal candidate for conversion to a monochrome.

After starting the page in a much higher-key, I decided, just for the heck of it, to see how the photo would look set against a darker background and found that I preferred the low-key version for the added "pop" it gave to the buildings and lighter clouds.
