Still when I return to my abuela’s house so many things stay the same. The vintage stove has not been replaced and the bedroom furniture still remains the same. The lighting fixtures have become stained and the driveway has increased in cracks. I often wonder why nothing is replaced or upgraded, but then realize that most things she uses, she is use to and changing it is unneccessary.
