Another layout for my favorite photos book...

DH and I went for a drive one sunny autumn afternoon, looking to get some nice "fall colors" shots. Our ultimate destination was the heavily-forested hill country to the east of town, and it was just as we reached the point where the landscape begins changing over from mostly farms to mostly woods that I spotted this tractor at rest in a roadside field. Lacking the character of an old, rusty, abandoned antique, I suppose it didn't make for the most photogenic of subjects, but I couldn't resist popping off a few shots anyway. (Actually, it probably won't be that much longer before a tractors like these will be considered antiques: on many farms they've already been replaced, or relegated to "utility tractor" status, as farmers have made the switch to new-style, larger, more high-tech models—complete with fully-enclosed, heated and air-conditioned cabs—for the field work.)
