Another layout for my Shutterfly "favorite images" book. DH and I were out for a drive early one evening (Chaz riding shotgun in the back seat, of course!) when we came across this scene of pair of trees, off by themselves in the middle of a pasture, spotlit by the low-hanging sun. It made for a lovely color image, but in the colored version the two trees were almost impossible to distinguish, one from the other, and since one of the things which had initially struck me about the trees had been the way that the bigger one gave the impression of being the smaller's guardian, I wanted to see if maybe I could do a better job of playing up that relationship in a monochrome version.
