I've been converting some of my favorite color images to monochromes, and have decided to scrap them for a Shutterfly book—and since, for once, I'm actually thinking in terms of a book project as I'm working the individual layouts, I'm making a concerted effort to keep the design aesthetics consistent, layout to layout, by sticking to a single monochromatic palette and a single set of fonts, and clipping all the photos with Anna's FotoBlendz masks.

This is the second page in the series ("Repurposed" being the first), and it features a photo I took as the sun was setting (hence the lens flare!), of a freshly-mown hayfield overlooked by one of those wonderful, time-worn barns which feature so prominently in the rural Wisconsin landscape.
