Assignment No.1 for Debbie's Be Real class...

Journaling Reads: Taking down the Christmas tree has become my job alone. Shortly after New Years I spend an afternoon taking each ornament off of the tree and arranging them by type on the sofas and coffee table, the ornament hooks are removed and sorted into two bags -one for gold and one for silver. Once the tree has been completely undressed, the fun begins. Each ornament is individually wrapped and placed into compartmented boxes; I have a box for large glass balls, misc. ornaments, oversized balls, and a new box for unbreakable balls (last year I bought up a bunch on clearance at Macys -they look like real glass!). Each individual box is also organized by color or type, for instance: all the bird ornaments have their own special row. It’s not my favorite post holiday chore, but I am always thankful the next year when it is tree-trimming time again...
