Rehoboth *template challenge*
Did this one for the template challenge on the blog!
Rehoboth beach on the shores of delaware is a two and a half hour drive from home. far enough to be a vacation destination and far enough to be a day trip. I never thought we’d live so close to the beach after over 25 years in the midwest so it is such a treat to be close enough to drive over to the ocean. Growing up we spent a fair amount of time at the beaches of Long Island New York and I have fond memories of boat trips out into the bay to go clamming and over to fire island to go swimming. And the fact that I now keep a beach umbrella, beach chairs and boogie boards in the car so we can go on day trips on a whim is such a good feeling for me. I feel so at home at the beach and in the water. There is nothing that can compare to sitting in the sand and jumping in the waves.
