I saw this pic in one of my sister’s albums on Facebook. It reminded me of a door to a secret garden (which is what she named the file!). I asked her to send it to me & she graciously obliged and then some. The journaling is more or less straight from the brochure she developed for the Lower Topanga Canyon EcoArtsPark project. You can visit their evolving web site for more info if you’re in that area and want to get involved: www.lteap.org

Font is CK Roxy: California State Parks acquired a parcel of Lower Topanga Canyon, affectionately known as the Rodeo Grounds, with the idea of redeveloping the land and opening it to the public. The area boasts a rich cultural history and a thriving and eclectic biodiversity as a riparian corridor and a microclimate. The community has been given the perfect opportunity to shape the future of this unique space. By developing an inclusive, cooperative, community-driven plan, Lower Topanga’s past, present and future can not only be preserved, but can evolve and flourish.
