OK so I know I'm REALLY late with the week BEFORE LASTS Saturday Scraplift but I loved it so much I still had to have a go!! Please indulge me :-)

I've always been fascinated by this photo I took on my first trip to Mexico. It was taken only a few months after Hurricane Gilbert had been through the area. We were at Puerto Juarez (Cancun) waiting for a boat out to the small island of Isla Mujeres. It was an overcast but fairly wind-still day and this is what the landscape looked like. The trees were permanently bent that way and the wrecked boats were still up on the beach. I've done nothing to enhance this picture - it really just looked like this.
