JOURNALING
Ahhhh... food that gives me comfort... or is it food that i turn to for comfort? one is good, comforting. the other... not so good. macaroni and cheese and crunchy fish sticks is my comfort food. that’s what i want to eat when i don’t feel well. and, yes, they do actually bring me comfort. i think it’s because they remind me of my childhood... we ate alot of mac ‘n’ cheese and alot of fish sticks, too! as for the OTHER comfort food... the m&ms and the red vines... well, those are foods that bring me instant gratification, but comfort? not really. i usually wind up eating way to many of them and then i feel guilty... and fat. and, that my friends, is NOT comfortable at all! but, i have to tell you that, after 10 weeks on weight watchers, i don’t eat ANY of these comfort foods... good or bad!
