A REALLY OLD newspaper clipping that I found yesterday! A blast from the past when I was a sophomore in high school.

Journaling: Mollie Patton practices a piece of music on the flute while band director Dr. Warren Luster gives pointers. They are getting ready for the Central High School Band's fall concert Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Tech administration Building. Theme Of the concert will be "A Tribute to Glen Miller" and the Golden Eagle. (from the newspaper clipping)

This was my first big high school orchestra concert and I imagine that I must have been a bit nervous! Dr. Luster was a wonderful person as well as an amazing band/orchestra director. I can imagine that he was telling me that I was doing just fine and not to worry at all. I just found this clipping from our newspaper and am wondering why in the world I was in the newspaper!
