This is for Lynn's (grandma lynnie) "Way Back Wednesday" on the DD Blog today. I was lucky enough to actually have a photo in an album dated Father's Day in 1968! How lucky is that? I've used one of the wonderful All Mapped Out papers of Central Europe and added the town to it along with an arrow pointing to where we were living.

Journaling:Today is Father's Day and I snapped this photo of you with your daddy before he went to work. We are in the living room of our little apartment on the military base in Darmstadt, Germany and counting the days until it is time for us to move back to the United States and for your daddy to go to Vietnam. We know that Daddy will be getting ready to come back home to us for your next Fathers Day!
