kiss the cook * Home Décor Challenge *
The latest Home Décor Challenge on the DD Blog was such fun to work with this week. I have never tried one of the challenges for this category and thought that I would try this one because of the wonderful colors! Wouldn’t it be fun to have a foyer just like this one? If this were my house, I would have to redecorate the entire place just to go with the fabulous stripe wall and red table! Thanks Hillarey for the fun!
Journaling: After Christmas this year, Monnie drove to your house to pick you up so you could stay with us for a week. You were three years old and cute as a button! One of your favorite things to do inside the house was to cook . . you liked to help Monnie, and you liked to cook all by yourself too. This day I gave you some cookie dough to roll out and make cookies with sprinkles on them! You loved rolling them best of all . . . eating one was a close second. A big smile was on your little face when Papa ate one and told you that were the best cookies ever!
