birthday buttercream: Family Recipe Book
It has been awhile since I have added a page for my Family Cookbook. This page is a recipe, which I’ve used, in the past few years for birthday cakes. The kids love it . . . but love to lick it straight off of the cake better than waiting until the celebration I think!
Journaling: While some of the children were visiting in March I made a birthday cake for Mark and Uncle Mark so we could celebrate their birthday’s. This year it was Batman . . . Mark loves Batman now and Uncle Mark loved him when he was four too! Andrew is tasting the cake before our party in this photo.
I’m not sure where I got this recipe. I doubt it was from Mother, Aunt Velma or Aunt Lucy . . . because I think that meringue power is a relatively new item in our groceries.
This is perfect for a birthday cake with sprinkles, batman and lots of bats for these two little boys.
