Thanks for this awesome challenge, Kelly! It’s been raining here for a few days, so I blame cabin fever for the direction this took. LOL!

Thanks for looking Smile

Journaling: I am sunny {with a chance of showers} - That seems to be the best way to describe me lately. And what you see is what you get. I am not very good at pretending the sun is shining when the sky is raining crap on my head. And let’s face it; life can’t always be sunshine and roses. Although sometimes I think it would be nice! But we have to have the ‘showers’ to grow and learn and appreciate who we are and what we have. If life was always ‘sunny’ we would miss out on so much. At least that’s how I look at it in hindsight. At the time I’m probably not so insightful. I have been blessed to have a lot of sunshine in my life lately and that is not something I take for granted. I love these days when life is chugging along as it should and all is happy. Right now, the love of my little family shines brightly on my heart. And when the rains next fall (and they will, that’s the way this wonderful thing called life works), I know that love will keep me dry.
