You may have heard that last week we had a paralyzing snowstorm here in the South. I enjoyed documenting this week with Project Life!

This is the week they called “Snowmagedon.” It started out peacefully enough on Sunday with the typical family dinner. | On Tuesday, we got 2 inches of snow and a thick block of ice covering every roadway in town. Within an hour, the city was in gridlock. | Motorists were stranded in their cars in subfreezing temps for hours or overnight and thousands of children couldn’t get home from school. | David and Jon were trying to move into their new apartment, driving our pickup and trailer. They got stuck on the interstate behind a jack-knifed 18-wheeler and Matt saw them on the news! | Meanwhile, we were stranded at the clinic for the night. We trudged up to Winn-Dixie for food and shopped next door at Kohl’s for some warm clothes. We slept in chairs or on the exam tables. | Finally by the next day most people were able to get home.
