I wouldn't have done the song challenge I came across on Jana's blog but I did have a song and a story that I actually had to share! It's all about timing! TFL!

Journaling reads:
My Dad passed away in 1985. He would have celebrated his 86th birthday on the 20th of January. My Mom called me to share her story of my Dad. “Buttons and Bows” was a popular song of Dinah Shore in their youthful days. It was a song my Dad always associated with my Mom. And in his letters to her, he would sign off with the words Buttons & Bows. On his birthday this year, she was home with my stepdad who was singing a tune that suddenly gave my Mom goose bumps. Just to make sure she wasn’t hearing things, she asked him what he was singing and he shrugged his shoulders and said “Buttons and Bows.” She asked him why he was singing that specific song and he shrugged his shoulders again and said he didn’t know. I laughed when I heard her story. My Dad had a great sense of humour and I know he enjoyed nudging my Mom with this one!
