The day after I took this photo Miss Poppy started to develop a heat rash which soon covered her face, neck and shoulders. Two doctor trips later and a lot of time at home in the air con and it's finally going away. Thankfully it didn't seem to bother her at all!

JOURNALING: Little Miss Muffet, you are growing just ever so fast! You have seemed so much more awake and alert this week with lots of big cheeky grins and the odd little cooing sounds. Mummy is still not quick enough to catch a good shot of those beautiful smiles but I did manage to take this cute photo of you smiling in your sleep! We are slowly starting to find our normal for this family of four. Routines are starting to emerge and day to day life is overtaking the fog that surrounds having a newborn. You tend to be a little fussy around the mid morning and late evenings and I am learning to plan around those times. We still try to get out for dinner once a week as a family and you just happily sleep in your stroller. You started to develop some heat rash on your cheeks this week. This was a first for you but it started off mildly so I wasn’t too concerned. It seemed to be only on parts of your face that touched me while nursing. It soon started to get worse and spread though no matter that we were inside in the cool air con and so I booked a doctor’s appointment for you to make sure it’s not something else. Here’s hoping!
