So, yep... the one and only (OK, two and only!) Carol and Esther shortly after they stepped off the plane onto US soil! *grin* What a joy it was to be able to meet them at the airport... heck, there aren't many things that can get me up at 5:30am on a Saturday morning, but these two did! Sorry, it's not the best photo (I've got an old iPhone 4... hehehe) but as Carol always says "It's not the photo, it's the memory!"

Pam's wonderful layout, Leaving on a jet plane was the perfect starting point and inspiration for me! I even tried (for the first time ever!) to "brush" away and blend some of the map paper for that cool blended look... I think I need more help on this, but hey... I sorta/kinda did it! *grin* Thanks, Pam, for the wonderful inspiration!

Classic words from Carol as she and Esther came out of customs and up the ramp after landing at LAX! Lots of hugs ensured then lots of talking and laughing and even a few tears of joy! And, then four days of more talking and laughing... and yes, tears when I had to leave. It was so amazing to actually meet these two incredibly ladies, I can't even begin to explain it. How can you "know" someone online... never meet them... yet share a bond? And then, when the time comes to meet, it's like you'd been friends since birth! Truly incredible and I'm so very grateful we were able to share four days together, my friends... xoxo...
