This page is for the Saturday Scraplift featuring Pam Patterson aka blkcow. I could make about a dozen or more lifts from Pam’s gallery . . . I am a huge Pam fan!!

I am using a photo from November of 2009 of my dear Aunt Velma and myself for this lift . . . a wonderful memory of our early Thanksgiving with my dear “girl cousins” several years ago. Who ever said that there could only be one Thanksgiving Day each year? We six “girls” proved that wrong!!! *missing my Aunt Velma at Thanksgiving this year*

Journaling: The girl cousins were coming! Nancy, Becky, Sara & Janie were coming for a visit . . . the weather was cooling off a bit and fall was in the air, so Aunt Velma and I decided that it was just the right time for a big Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the trimmings! So that is just what we did . . . the bird was in the oven . . . the dressing made . . . potatoes mashed, eggs were stuffed, green beans shelled and cooked to a fair-the-well . . . dozens of hot rolls rolled out and set to rise . . . three pies made . . . the Thanksgiving cloth and the candles were on the table. What a wonderful three days we six girls had . . . it was one of those perfect days, which would always stick in our hearts!
