We took a sidetrip to the Magnolia Plantation outside of Charleston last week...there was a flock of peacocks mingling amongst us. They got a bit riled when a flock of chickens passed through and fluffed up their tail feathers. I was squatting down taking their photos when one walked up to me. We think he saw himself in my lens and would follow it around as I moved it...he must have decided he didn't like how he looked that day (or the other photographer that butted in) because right after I took this shot he flew at me, luckily he only pecked on my lens hood. It happened so fast and Mollie and I laughed until we were almost in tears....fun times!!
