When I think of Debbie I think of an artist in every sense of the word. Her work is magical. I can look at her pages for hours as every element has a place or a reason.
When I saw her page, I loved how her linear elements (the brushwork and the frames) drew my eye to her picture (man I want those socks!). Her blending is masterful. For this scrap lift, I thought I would pay homage to her artistry so I used the paint, layering each piece and I wanted to keep it looking like it could be something I painted (oh I wish!).
This was such a fun piece to create. I've incorporated many of my dreams for my son into this page..love, travel, adventure, growth, wisdom fun did I mention love? Thank you Debbie for your inspiration.
Here's to Mr. Bear.
