You have super lightweight down jackets, sleeping bag and tent , pants that zip off at the knee and shirts that you can wash and dry in minutes on the trail, a massive backpack and a great camera.
You have a twelve-pack of skinny field note journals to fill with sketches and notes as you travel and electronic books uploaded to your notebook for quiet moments at the end of the day.
You’ve got a facebook page to update when you get internet access, a mobile phone with an international sim and you’ve promised to let us know where you are whenever you can.
Well then, while I’ll miss you terribly, you are all grown-up now and I guess you are good to go………………
