Journaling: My sweet, baby girl! Look at you! We were so excited for this day and had booked your 3d scan months ahead. To tell you the truth too, after months of pain for Mummy, I needed nothing more than to get a sneak peek at your beautiful little face. Your Nana, Pa, Great Aunt Xxxx, Uncles Xxxx and Xxxxxx and Aunts Xxxx and Xxxxx were all there to see you, too! We were also excited too because at your gender scan they would only give us an 85% certainty that you were a girl. We knew today that if you co-operated then we would know for certain. Like all of your other ultrasounds, you did not play the game at first. At first you were all curled up in a ball with your fists clenched up at your face and your feet in the air. If anything, it was a good position for us to see you were definitely a girl. Soon you shifted though and we got such an amazing view of your face. At times you squished your fists up at your cheeks, sucked on your feet and you yawned a lot. We must have woken you up! We saw little smiles and even you open and close your eyes. Your big brother watched the whole thing on the big screen and kept saying, “Wowwwwwww!” over and over. And it was wow, my baby girl. The best bit is we have it all on dvd and can’t wait to show it to you one day. This was definitely Mummy’s best birthday present!
