Journaling: Once Mike agreed that I could scrapbook in the truck, I decided to accompany Zach and him on one of their weekend deer and elk scouting trips in Elko County. I enjoyed the time with the boys and I did get some scrapbooking accomplished. My Canon 7D was handy to take pictures of some interesting scenery, but the most unusal photo was this one. On our way home to Reno, we had to exit off I80 to divert around the Carlin tunnel since it was closed. We found ourselves closer to the Humboldt River than usual. Often the river water level is low, but it wasn’t on this day, so I wanted to get a picture. I quickly shot 3 or 4 photos on my iPhone from a moving vehicle. I love the reflec- tion caught here.
