Looking grown up
My first born grandson is looking so grown up to me these days. He is almost as tall as I am. He has worked hard to be where he is today...he started special therapy and schooling as soon as he was diagnosed on the autism spectrum at age 18 months. We are so proud of him and grateful for his progress. Our son and daughter-in-law have worked tirelessly on his behalf and on the behalf of the children who attend the Holland Center, the school they established. Our daughter-in-law is active nationally in several groups promoting awareness and lobbying for special funding for all children and young adults on the autism spectrum.
I take many photos of all three of our grandsons and create scrapbook pages with them for the yearly photo albums I give them. I try to keep the layouts simple in design, in part, because it is the photos that interest them the most and, in part, because it allows me to easily keep up with the pages. I like to use templates so that the design of the page is already done for me and then I have fun choosing the papers and a few embellishments. TFL
