To say that I had no idea where I was going with this page when I first started it would be an understatement. I just knew that I wanted to play with the chalk challenge. Smile I actually began this challenge with a sort of autumn subway art page in mind, but truly that theme was not blowing my skirt up so back to the drawing board. Now don't get me wrong--I adore the fall. It is hands down my favorite time of year, and there are some wonderful examples of autumn subway art in the gallery, but I am stubbornly clinging to summer right now, since my own summer of 2013 was absolutely abysmal--24/7 work days from the middle of April until August 14th at 4:03 p.m. August 14th at 4:03 p.m. is when I completed this big (UNDERSTATEMENT!!) project that had been sucking the soul from the very marrow of my bones (UNDERSTATEMENT!!). So, project was over but summer was nearly over as well and I had not done anything that I wanted to do--no travel, no relaxing, no nothin'. I did spend quite a bit of the summer daydreaming about where I would go if I only had the time, and in remembering the daydreams that kept me going the past few months I finally had an idea for this challenge.

I'm titling this page "Summertime Daydream" but in looking at it I see that I could also title it "White Space? We Don't Need No Stinkin' White Space!" Smile

Mer, thanks for a fun challenge and a fun chat!
