A big thank you to Julie(MaggieMae) for her delightful layout and to Linda for this week's Saturday Scraplift challenge!

This is another of the layouts from my son's recent investiture as an Air Force judge. You can probably figure out that I'm a little proud of him!

Journaling:
After their robing, each of the new judges spoke briefly to the group. Jeremy was last and, Iím not biased about this, his talk was the best. He thanked his Dad, remarking that he was a lawyer to be looked up to. He thanked Heather for organizing the reception food and for all she does to be supportive of his career. He joked about wondering if he was too short to be a member of the court.

Jeremy is a very good speaker. He connects with his audience and is warm and thoughtful in his manner. His message is always planned and well organized. I enjoy listening to him speak and love watching the expressive way he uses his hands. Anyone watching would probably know that I am his mother because I always sit beaming in the audience. I am indeed the proud mother of this accomplished man.
