Like many, I felt that girls shouldn't just be given girls' toys, boys shouldn't just be given boys' toys. When I was young my favourite toy was Lego.

So it's been fun to watch Amy and Tom develop their personalities. Amy is definitely a girly-girl, loves pink and dancing. Tom is such a boy, stomping everywhere, shouting and playing at goodies and baddies!

This day was typical, we were going to do a few errands, and I said they could each take a toy. Amy chose her Tiny Tears doll, Tom chose his blue water pistol. Guess it's not something to fight against, they like what they like:).
