Last weekend we did one of our rolling challenges and part of it was to climb (run/walk/crawl) up this old dormant volcano, not realising it was sooooo windy at the top. It was amazing, the view was incredible, this volcano is only 10 mins away from me and yet I've only attempted to climb it once, when I came face to face with a bull grazing on it. Loved it. And so much fun to do with my fitness friends. The double page spread used the following goodies, which the template was the stepping off point.

Another rolling workout which saw us climbing Mount Noorat. I wasn’t actually prepared for how steep it was or how far back this rambling old volcano went from what you could see from the road. The bull wasn’t in the paddock this time so we climbed over the wooden stye making sure we were clear of the electric fence and then made our way to the top, ran where we could, but it was so steep and OH SO WINDY. The type of wind that you could lean back and it would hold you upright. The type of wind that we had to plant our feet lest they blow out from under us. The type of wind that made our eyes water and our teeth hurt. We couldn’t even hear each other speak. It was powerful and exhilarating and absolutely fantastic. We could see for miles all around.
I gathered the girls on the sundial at the top for a photograph. There was no way I could put my phone camera down and use the timer, the phone would have blown clear away to Terang. So this was the best I could do for a group photo, hair flying, chilled to the bone, but having the most fantastic morning with Kazz, Casey, Tania, Debbie and Lynne.
