Another page for my Chicago vacation book. The journaling tells the story of us trying to see the Sears Tower as we were walking toward it. Oh yeah, that's right--it's called the Willis Tower now. Sigh. The Willis Group, who now leases several stories in the tower, obtained the rights to re-name the tower back in 2009 but I don't think I will ever get used to the name change.

Journaling reads:
"You wouldn’t think it would be difficult to spot a 108-story building, but as we were walking west along Adams St. from Michigan Ave. we kept looking up and couldn’t see it. A perspective thing, I suppose--our line of sight was obscured by all of the other tall buildings between us and our goal. It wasn’t until we were right at the corner of Adams and Wacker that we looked up and There. It. Was. All 108 stories of it, reaching for the clouds. Even though there are taller buildings in the world now, the Sears Tower is still quite impressive. Oops! I mean the Willis Tower. Don’t know if I will ever get used to the name change."
