Journaling: 11/08 - I saw this cute lamp on sale at Spotlight. It was the last one and I snatched it up for Poppy's nursery.
11/08 - Mum, Jess and I went to Xxxxxxx to scope out baby goods. I had specific things in mind and found some cute ruffle bums, a patchwork owl pillow and an embroidered owl towel/washer set. I found the quilt of my dreams but it was not cot size! I will be going back though for more things. I could have easily bought everything I saw!
10/08 - Linc and Nana M had the best 'conversation’ on the phone. They chatted away for quite some time and Lincoln loved listening to the songs Nana sang him. He was so upset when it was time to hang up!
Life happened this week. Some parts were amazing. Some parts stressful and frustrating. Some parts were just 'the norm’. Good, ole life at it’s best! Lincoln and I spent a lot of time de-junking. I managed to pack up things from most rooms and I still have a long way to go. Mr. Carter got a huge bunch of hand me downs from Lincoln. Some were never worn. Saturday was busy with a trip to the shops, art and a quick stop to see the Axxxx Family. Sunday Dylan and Lincoln had a daddy/son day while I went to the markets. They had a great day together. Pop M finished up his chemo and radiation treatment & they are home now! YAY!
11/08 - We made yummy ginger, soy and sweet chilli beef noodles for dinner. I am so glad that Mr. Lincoln has decided he likes noodles now! He scoffed down his bowl so fast - so not how dinner normally goes! He loved his choc ice cream after, too! 08/08 - I saw the obstetrician. I wasn’t expecting to have to do a bunch of extra tests. But, I guess it is what it is. Poppy-Belle played hide and seek again and they had trouble getting her heart beat. Or rather, they had to chase her around my tummy with the doppler. She’s just too quick for them! They said that’s a good sign.
I have found myself so very stressed out this week. Stressed by the extra tests. Stressed about needing help with Lincoln while I have tests. Stressed about Bandit and his increasingly bad, and not to mention costly behaviour. Stressed over introducing a baby to the household while the dog is so...there are no words. Stressed about birth choices and making the right decisions. Stressed. Stressed. Stressed. Constant headaches don’t help. But, I have to remind myself this is life. And I so need to stop the stress. 09/08 - Lincoln ate cheese and liked it! This is huge progress!
