Journaling: We have had some very stressful times with Bandit recently. The damage bill reached the thousands when he cracked the glass in one of my sliding doors from jumping at it constantly. His challenging behaviour and hyper ways around Lincoln were becoming all too much on top of a pregnancy that has been very exhausting. Needless to say I was developing extreme anxiety about how to safely introduce a baby to the crazy dog! After a lot of lost sleep, much ugly crying on my part, research and reading we decided to dig deep and try harder. We have re-affirmed who’s boss with the little rascal and in the past week we’ve seen a completely different dog. We’re making progress AND having fun again! We hope this all continues!

I believe this octopus is evil. It says numbers, colours and phrases but also has a habit of talking by itself, without being touched when there’s only me around the hear it. The other day it started talking when Lincoln was napping. I went to turn it off and when I got to the door it said 'Do you want to play?’. Then all went quiet. Then just as I was about to switch if off, it started going "Four. Four. Do you want to play? Four. Four!” It is one lucky octopus as it very nearly went in the bin!

28/07 - We spent a great deal of time outside Sunday afternoon playing and throwing the ball for Bandit. He’s been so calm this week and so well behaved around Lincoln. It’s been nice to relax in our backyard again!
