Amy really did a cracker on her knees this week in gym, it reminded me of being in early school years, where we'd compare the number of bruises on our legs and embellish every fall-off-a-bike into a major drama - or laugh it off as if it was nothing!

Then today as I finished this page I collected her from school. Her first words were 'I needed an ice pack at school today'. Turned out she'd slipped on someone's jacket at lunch, clobbered her arm off the chair and her neck(!) off the table. It just looks red and scraped, poor soul. It's dangerous being 6!
