Katie has some new artsy products coming out this weekend that made me start thinking about how I wished I was more artsy. Then I started thinking about this image of Chase from last weekend playing away with his watercolors in his pajamas, totally oblivious to what anyone else might think. All he cared about was the play. I don't know about anyone else, but playing is a little foreign for me. I get hung up on the right way to do things and how it would be judged by others. We really should be more like our kids and grandkids, more willing to give ourselves permission to just play without fear of whether our work is technically correct and without fear of what others might think!
