Sunday 30th December 2012
I woke up about 8.30 this morning, ahhhh Sunday morning sleep in. I had grand plans to go jogging, but instead I rolled over and went back to sleep. I woke again 10 minutes later and lay there listening to Mike, he was fast asleep still. I toyed with the idea of staying in bed longer, but no, I had to JFDI, I had plans to jog and by heck I am a woman of my word, so I was up, fed the dogs and out the door. I ran the new route that I had made in my head and did the whole lot in one big jog, no walking! 2.4 kilometres, my best outdoor distance ever. I came home on a high, minus one gold earring :-( Obviously it was surrendered to the jogging Gods!
The Christmas decos came down today, the most depressing day of the year. Mike ditched me and started work. It was only the dogs for company, even Molly wasn’t impressed and went to sleep. At least I knew Sonia was going through the same torture in Tassie, we were i-messaging each other.
Late afternoon Mike decided to go out coin detecting, ah ha! Lucky and I were going to catch him in the act this time. About five minutes after he left I grabbed Lucky and we went for a drive and found him, he had no idea we were spying. He found a one dollar coin, woo hoo! The thrill of the chase he keeps telling me. Lucky and I then went for a wander around Tea Tree Lake, he was sniffing everything in sight.
Cruisey night tonight, had the remainder of the turkey, watched the summer repeats of 60 Minutes, realised I’d forgotten the washing on the line and went out to get it and now it was damp and cold, so it’s now in the dryer.
Really looking forward to tomorrow night, New Years Eve, the end of 2012.
