I am still moving slowly and feeling my way into this scanning of old print photos. I began with 2004 and found so many that I had forgotten about . . . so Iím thinking of an easy and straightforward book of my favorite photos from that year . . . maybe. this is my first page . . . I may change it a bit, donít know yet. The idea for this is from the sites, which offer paint chips samples to go with a photograph.

I am going to have to find a better way to scan my photos . . . this one is too pixilated to make much larger than a 4x6-inch photo. I scanned it at 300 and then again at 600 and it seemed to make no difference. I have the negatives and tried scanning them in also, but the difference in unnoticeable.

Anyone who has a BEST way to scan let me know your secrets. I am thinking that there may not be a better way.

This first page is of our daughter and granddaughter at the beach from that year. I will print them at home on double sided 8 Ĺ x 11 paper and trim one side to make it 8 Ĺ x 10 Ĺ with holes punched in one edge to use in a ring binder.
