Saturday 29th December 2012

I really struggle between Christmas and New year, I'm ready for the old year to finish and the new one to start. Even old Molly looks over it, so not interested in anything.

Although it's the weekend, the life of a sole business owner means you don't get many days off, particularly when you work from home. Mike did a bit of work in the shed while I did the laundry from my overflowing washing basket. Then the dreaded ironing.

Turkey toasted sandwiches for lunch, that's the best thing about Christmas leftovers. I scrapbooked in the afternoon, while Mike pottered. I then took Lucky for a late afternoon walk, I swear he pee'd at every tree.

Made a delicious lamb, pumpkin, feta, bean and pinenut concoction from 12wbt for dinner, one of our firm favourites. Found the remainder of the red and green M&Ms in the cupboard! Eeeek, couldn't stop munching.

Mike wanted a haircut during the evening. El cheapo, never goes to a barber. It was well overdue. I have no idea what I'm doing, I just use the clippers, cross my fingers and hope for the best. I like letting out a few “oops” comments when I’m doing it to keep him worried. Ha!
