That’s what we like, a nice short work week. Roll on the weekend. Still feeling a bit exhausted after the last couple of big days, looking forward to doing nothing at all this weekend. But best laid plans and all, that may go awry.
I went to the gym after work, I needed it. I ran on the treadmill, my best distance yet in one hit. 3.7km in 30 minutes. I was absolutely pumped. I’ve never run that far without stopping before. I just know I’m not going to be able to run 6km in the upcoming Surf to Surf fun run in January, but I’ll be doing my darndest to run as far as I can.
Mike was going to wait for me to come home for a late dinner, so popped into Safeway for some salad things, so we can use the leftover ham and turkey with it. Absolutely gobsmacked when I saw hot cross buns in the bakery section. Are you freaking kidding me??? This just makes me sad. Easter is still months away.
After dinner we played with Molly and Lucky, they had energy to burn, whilst the cat hightailed it over the fence. Mike settled down to read one of his new books from the Game of Thrones series that I gave him for Christmas. I played around outside with my new tripod taking photos of the clouds in the night sky that the moon was lighting up. Looked eeriely cool. I also played around with the sparklers, I have no idea what settings to put the camera on, I am going to have to google it.
Mike went back to his reading, I did some scrapbooking, and the dogs and cat have gone to bed. Such a cruisey night.
