This is the layout for Liz for the Photo Swap. She allowed me to tell this very special story of her mother meeting her grandchildren for the first time! I hope you like it Liz!

Journaling:
Kelly really wanted her grandmother to meet her girls. I had flown out to help fetch them to Los Angeles for Christmas. We knew there probably would be no other opportunity for Great-Grandmother Susanne to meet the little girls, so I arranged the flights so we could stop in Denver overnight on the way back, and see my mother.

I know my mother appreciated the effort, but really, it was for Kelly that I wanted this meeting to take place. She is such a family-oriented person, and, perhaps, has the most special bond with her grandmother, since she was the first grandchild. It was a pretty poignant moment to have all four generations together like this.

My mother smiled so broadly to meet those beautiful girls. Seeing her enjoy my beautiful granddaughters... it was SO worth it, all the effort that it took to detour through Denver just for this one, fleeting moment. I cherish that day, and I know Kelly does too.
