I think I might be jumping on this Project Life thing, but am going to try and keep it simple...my favorite photo of the week on the left, and other photos from the week and journaling on the right. The large photo might not be one I took..it could be from a friend, or Matt and Justin...whatever I like the best for the week. So here is how 2013 started off:
We are welcoming 2013 with a remodel of our master bedroom and bathroom. When I say remodel, I mean gutted, down to the rafters for the bathroom and repainting, some new drywall and brand new furniture in the bedroom. Fortunately, our bedroom is upstairs all by itself, so we moved EVERYTHING out and settled into the guest room. We both cleaned out a ton of items in our closets, bagged it up, gave it to Goodwill and I am thinking we STILL have things that could be donated!
This project is taking up a lot of our time...well mostly Bruce’s time (who is still wearing shorts) as he is supervising everything. We don’t expect it will all be done until March, so I am going to have learn some patience...and here is why...I usually don’t go up into what I now call the Horror Zone. However, sometimes there are decisions to be made. I am not the best visualizer, so when deciding on the placement of our new tub, the plumber says to me, “Women usually have trouble with visualizing things...that is why you try on so many outfits when you shop”. “I read that in a psychology book”. REALLY? Don’t quit your day job.
The weather has been pretty chilly for Southern Arizona, and it appears that we are in for a BIG freeze toward the middle of the month.
Matt has a new Iphone, so I am hoping I will be receiving more photos like this one of his view from the pro shop at Blackhawk Country Club, where he works.
Flagstaff is a winter wonderland, so I included this large photo taken by a friend to remind me how beautiful the winters are up there.
